Especially when they refuse to sleep in their own bed at night. Tabby was sick this weekend, and I kept her at home on Monday because she was running a fever that morning. She felt better yesterday, so we sent her on to daycare, even though she was still a congested. She slept in our bed all night Sunday and Monday. Today, she wakes up at 4AM crying for Dad. I take her to our bed where she continues to have a fit, this time because she wants juice. Two hours of fitful sleeping through an off and on temper tantrum (because we wouldn't give her juice). I get up at 6am just because I wasn't going to get anymore sleep in the half hour I had before my actual wake up time. My head feels like someone stuffed it full of wool. So, the conclusion is, Tabby gave me her cold. This is why toddlers are plague carriers. (Can't call in sick! Called in sick on Monday and used most of my sick time taking care of sick baby :( )
