Rang in the new year with friends down in San Diego. I resolved to finish reading the untranslated "Les Miserables" novel, which I have been slowly progressing through over the past month. As a secondary resolution, I will study an interesting sort of legal process every season. So maybe this winter I will learn about adverse possession.
I spent Christmas with thelastmehina's family, the Judds. They gave me a delightful chef's toque. I am now inspired to make soups.
