Carbonara Friday
My sister gave me a recipe for pasta carbonara that I tried out last night. It was inspired by my having bought a lot of bacon, and casting out for ideas on what to do with it. Atomic buffalo poppers might also be in order, as recommended by aghrivaine
Sheldon has joined aghrivaine and myself at the gym. I've known Sheldon for a good long while, but haven't hung out with him much. Turns out we get on well. We went to look at the Occupy LA movement the other day, to see if there was any reaction to Occupy Oakland getting violently dispersed. Turns out Occupy LA was in a bit of a lull in terms of activity, in comparison to what I observed two weeks ago when I first went. But there were a lot more tents set up this time.
Ran a one-shot game of Mutants and Masterminds 3rd ed. It was a superhero vs. zombie punchout. I think it was generally enjoyed.
