Non-conformists of the world, unite!
The quarter is almost over! For that, I am quite happy. I wasn't a huge fan of this quarter. I'm hoping next quarter will be better. Next week is finals week. I really have very little left to do. Honestly, I need to give my presentations tomorrow and Thursday for a couple classes but the papers, prep and notecards are all complete. Its just a matter of doing the presentation. Otherwise I just have to finish my final English paper and my actual work will be complete. I have two other exams. I'm hoping beyond all belief that History is take home. I do so much better on them when I can think about what i want to write for the essay. But I guess 2 hours is a lot better than 1, when it comes to take an exam anyway. More time to write, but I get impatient. So I'd just prefer the take home essay.
I applied for an internship with a website that deals with translating world news articles to present a less bias view on world issues and politics. Sounds interesting. I dunno if I'm even going to have time to take it on. I just figured applying couldn't hurt. :)
Once I get my banner for best texture on hp20in20 I'll post that and my participation banner. I was really excited :) I'm currently working on a Neville Longbottom set for this round. I'll post them when I finish them.
I started a new community too. theoffice20in20 . It's one of my favorite shows now and I'd love some icons of my own and others to use for my journal. Plus, it'll be fun. Sign ups for Round 1 are still open, and will be all through March and April. The round officially beings April 1st to give people time to join the community so we can have plenty of people participate. :) I think I want to do Dwight this round, but I'll probably see who is taken first! Either way, even if you don't want to participate, if you like The Office, you can join and watch everyone post their icons so you can snag some for yourself!
I'll be spending spring break with Rei. :) All preparations are set and once I take my last exam, I'll be heading out the next day. It won't be a long visit this time of course, but since I didn't see him at Christmas, its still worth it. I miss him a lot. We have a few things planned including going to Renfrew to visit his Dad and to go see Alice in Wonderland. Which I am SO excited about seeing! I think we're going to Pizza Hut after, since that's the first place we ever went out to eat together back the first time we met. :) We had a little rendezvous there last time I visited too and we had a really fun time. If its open and warm enough we're gonna take a day and go mini putting and then go over to A&W. We'll probably start playing WoW again during the visit or after my return. I think we've both missed playing a bit. Not to mention, Lich King is out now and we've yet to participate in the raid. Plus, I think this coming quarter won't be nearly as bad workload wise. I'm also getting late Christmas presents! I'm excited about that. I have a Megaman shirt for him and a copy of Sweeney Todd. Since one of our visits i think we watched it like 10 times on satellite.
