This weekend was a nice break from the world.
Not that I am one for direct escapism, but the reality of life was weighing heavy on me last week.
Good times were had out under the sun and stars of the hill country. It was good to reconnect with community again.
It was quite hard to say goodbye to Tom and Gwen....that about broke me. Well, it did break me. I am very happy, sad, and excited
to see their move into a new direction and starting their life over again. It always amazes me to discover people who are 1 degree seperation, and have been for at least 5 years, and I have never seen them. It was good to fill in those cracks.
