okay, so school has started on the one day I have every single class, while overcasted wet and cold.

A few days ago I Chris, Adriann, Dave, and I all changed over to Windows Vista. Why? because its free online at LSU. I had heard a few things too.
1) they completely reworked Direct X 10 throwing out all the old legacy Direct X's and actually made it good instead of a big heaping pile of crap the previous versions where built on top of.
2) they actually spent time working on vista and used the new DX10 for all the rendering.
Have to say this thing feels like a well oiled machine. Yes they took a hint from Mac and reworked their candy apple XP crap into the nice Arrow Glass style with a default of BLACK which is just sexy. One would simply have to experience it to belive it. Its a nice middle ground the, the clean polished look of apple offers but the I still have control linux offers. Also Microsoft is starting to win my heart, finally pushing the PC as a gaming platform again instead of hoarding all their games to their coveted 360. This has sparked talk that Gears of War may be comming to the PC, and a few other xbox titles!

Eve has taken up a storm in this house, the Massivly Multiplayer Online Space game has a strange allure. As chris said it just feels right crunching the numbers of Damage per shot than calculating the damage a different sword will do. We've joined a corperation (guild) called Warcry, first day into the corp it gets robed. This is why we've started loving this game. and this The Great Heist Made MMO History. This one is a bit new to me, its much more open than any other MMO I've played, no levels only skills which you can buy and upgrade to a max of 5 levels each. When compared to other MMOs this is the easiest to make money in, right now my mining enterprise banks in 9 million in game currancy. The ships are beautiful and elaborate in functionality. Things you would think useless in an MMO are actually quite useful. The game is a joy.

Oh yes and finally a delema worth looking into. Chris told me someone has made an HD-DVD 51 GBs in size. If this is the case HD-DVD may have a place in my heart after all. Also developers have made players capable of reading both Blu-ray and HD-DVD, which kind of bothers be because one a multi disk reader is expensive and two I prefer a single standard media, having two is just a pain. if the 51GB HD does exist I wanna see Bluray and HD unifying damnit, like the DVD.

Oh yeah, The senators actually did something! Finally the house is calling George W Bush's Bull shit! He said they had a new plan for Irac and would need more troops. The senators litterally LITTERALLY stood up and blatenly told Condoleezza Rice that they where tired of being lied to, and will not stand for this plan
