Rather than risk getting woken up and evacuated at 3am, Buddy and I are spending the night at my sister's place in Santee. The air is certainly a lot healthier here. Traffic was light, and as far as I can tell SD county residents are enduring everything in a calm and orderly way.

Here's hoping the ocean breeze is blowing my way.
