I'm obsessed
Kay, I'm definitely going overboard with how much I like this Nemo Musical thing. I looked it up and there's already a wiki site for it. And guess what? The dude who wrote the songs (along with his wife) also wrote songs for Avenue Q! I knew there was a reason I liked the songs so much. And why he sounded familiar. The puppets (yes puppets, but not hand puppets, they're hard to explain) where made by the same guy who designed the broadway lion king outfits and puppets.
I also read that the guys from Pixar actually came up and saw the show. And true to form, something technical breaks down in the middle of the show and they have to pause in order to fix it. The director of the show just happens to be sitting next to John the Pixar guy (I know his last name but I'm afraid I'd butcher it if I tried to spell it) and John starts writing furiously on his notepad that he brought with him. The director guy gets all nervous until John smiles and shows him the notepad. It said "Just keep swimming."
If you guys want, google finding nemo musical and you should find some articles with pics that will make the whole puppet thing clearer.
On a completely unrelated note, my roommates are grumpy and arguing. I definitely miss you guys.
