So....it's been a week. Just earlier today around noon I finished up my research proposal for Critical Methods class. Its quite a relief to have done since that was THE class I had to pass this quarter. Not that I'm in danger of failing anything at all, just that I've got quite the history with those research methods classes that its nice to be able to...do it right finally. I don't really know what to hope for in that class, I only started writing the paper on Sunday and got next to nothing done Monday and Tuesday since i was in and out of town. It was a bit of a crunch but I never really got to the point of freaking out and in all honesty I'm fairly happy with it, meaning that if I had another day I'm not sure what I would change if anything.

Whatever...relief, I just finished another of my other papers so theres only like...6 left.

For anyone who happens to be wondering, my CI appointment was Tuesday and I am not a candidate at this time for the surgery. My hearing is by all means bad enough but as the audiologist put it I am "too good at putting things together." Basically that I get enough of a benefit from my hearing aids that I don't meet the standards set by the FDA. To be honest I was kind of indifferent about it, that morning driving an hour and a half to the hospital where the evaluation took place was probably the first time I actually began to accept the idea of getting a CI. So much so that I was almost feeling let down when she told me I wasn't a candidate, but really the situation simply is that I can get one whenever I want...all I have to do is miss a few more words here and there. I think my mom was a little disappointed, she has her heart set on me getting one and though we both agree that someday I will, she's ready now.

But that was that, we left early because I really wanted to see Isaac and my brother of course (it was his birthday Tuesday). So I was happy to be able to do that and spend a good two hours with them. My brother as always jumped into my financial plan with me going over my credit rating (which is excellent), how much I have in loans ( 30000 ) and basically what I need to do to make sure I can get the loan amount that I'll need to buy a house. It all makes perfect sense and I really appreciate the fact that he cares so much, though every now and then it'd be nice to have another kind of conversation with him.

Uhm...so....yeah, saturday should be fun...and I'd like to see people, so if i havent seen you for awhile do something with me please
