Not bad day, yet boring..
Boring day. Christmas.. Well. Not bad even. As always, maybe 10 years ago or so? This house, my family, is always the place for my other relatives to come by and celebrate. Thanksgiving, Halloween, Easter, you name it.
Like, maybe 6+ years ago or something, 5+ families come by and celebrate. And yeah, I think I mention before that my family is pretty big, but its only like. 1/5 of the whole family (I THINK), the rest are in Mexico. :s But anyway, yeah, few years ago and to now, only 3-1 come by, making events more boring (especially thanksgiving, only 1 came by). Only 2 for this christmas..
What did I get for christmas? Well. Just gloves, cash, and a pocket watch. That's it. For the past couple of years. I never hint or even ask what I want. So, I never really look forward for christmas, only the 2-3 weeks off vacation to lazy my ass off after school/college.
For today, well was ok, but boring. Woke up at 9, stretched a bit. Take shower and get ready. Plan was to go to the mall today. Before that, only went to the grocery store to by myself 2 packs of coke (I was desperate for coke because I didn't drink any soda since maybe 2-3 weeks ago, and I was really desperate for one on christmas).
Walk is only 7-10 minutes. Carrying two packs of coke each hand was kinda tiresome, but good warm up for my arms, but not for my fingers. Was barely able to type for around 10 minutes. Then around 2 hours later. went to the mall with my brothers. I didn't really get anything, but one. Pocky, the chocolate coverd biscuit sticks. Always wanted to try those since I kept seeing those in anime I watch. Pretty good. spent 9/10 of the mall time reading manga because I don't have any other reason to get. Wanted to get a new game, but none of those are appealing and not compared to the mighty source engine (used for H-L2 and CS: Source), and there will be mods being made with source engine. Also wanted to get Wish Manga #4 for my lil sis, but there isn't any yet :( . Oh and also bought some large Icee, coke flavor. That's all really.
Back home after the mall, night is still young. I set up my sister's new computer before I went to the mall (her damn computer is faster than mine :( ). then set up her wireless network after I came by since she asked me for internet access. Damn one of my brother, Edgar fucked up the wireless card port, I think he pulled the wireless line forcefully from the port, making it lose and I don't think supergluing it would be a good idea. So, had to use mine (I never really like wireless anyway).
All went well until that fucking norton internet security. Useless shit, and blocking access (I didn't want to go through the trouble and configure it correctly plus its my first time seeing this kind of program) so I just disabled it.
All you need is the firewall built in from Windows, and ad blocker people. :\
Took me around 7 minutes to figured it out and kept mistaking between Norton anti-virus and internet security. But anyway, all is good now. Hell, she can even play gamecube with her computer. :( I'm jealous (well, I can too, but the response between the compie on mine and the controller is pretty slow, plus, tried it on PS2, didn't try GC yet). Oh well.
For the rest of the night, I don't know, I'll just see..
