You know those days that you're just blind sided?
Well, I've been acting a little weird if anyone noticed..I've been trying to keep everything off my mind...but it happens I guess..sure enough someone has to say something..that's how it always goes
so we have company - my cousin Mike is here..I just got finished changing the California plates on my mustang to Kentucky ones..
Mike asks if it was my dads car that I was changing the plates on..
my mom just non-shalantly goes "hey Travis, ain't it been about a year since your dad died"...
wtf?!?! she said it as though she were asking what I wanted for dinner...like it was no big deal and I was supposed to be happy to talk about it or something
While I was standing there at the ktichen counter she goes on to tell him in detail what kind of heart attack my dad had and paints a picture of how it all happened, how we found out, and what all happened that morning..
I waited until I could make it downstairs..and then I basically broke down..
I don't even know why it hurts..
