I am getting really annoyed/upset by the fact that one of my professors is accusing me of plagiarism when I freaken didn't. I have 10 in text citations and a works cited page already and when I explained everything to him he understood exactly why I did what I did, and used the words I did, perfectly. Yet, he still is considering submitting the case to a jury. I'll be found innocent but meanwhile I'm going to be humiliated by the ordeal in general, and probably be hit by anxiety attacks every five seconds awaiting trial and conviction
It's honestly absurb. This kind of crap is starting to make me hate english/the world and this obsession over credit and intellectual property. My professor is basically insulting me through all this not only by accusing me, but through the reasons he's accusing me. He has absolutely no evidence or any clue where or how I might have plagiarized, he's just assuming I did because I used more sophisticated words in the second portion of the paper (which I didn't really, he just didn't read carefully) which is basically saying to me "you can't write like that therefore someone else had to have written it"
He said clearly that he doesn't think I got anything from the internet, but believes I plagiarized an academic journal. I don't know why I would do that considering I already sited 7 different instances when I did take material from two academic journals. Why in the world would I bother to site those if I intended to just plagiarize another one?
it's not fair
