Since I'm up early with nothing better to do...
...I figured I might as well ramble on here for a while.
Things have been up and down since my last post. To sum: I was in the hospital (twice), kitty died, I got on disability, I got a new cat (Button) and now I'm trying to get my act together for life.
Ugh.
So I've decided to go back to school and either get a second bachlor's degree in education or a masters of art in teaching biology. yes, kids, I want to be a teacher. Really, I figure if I get in at a decent school there's really not a lot of downsides (aside maybe getting up early, but i'm up early now!). I wouldn't mind teaching in Pickens county where I am now, but teaching at the same school as my mother is... less than appealing. I really would like to teach in Cherokee county or the right parts of Cobb or Fulton. We'll see. I find out today whether I can get in to the masters program for the fall. I talked to a lady about it yesterday and apparently they're having a meeting about opening the master's program to start year round instead of just the summer (for which the deadline has already passed). So I'm emailing her today and shes gonna let me know how the meeting goes.
Bah, I'm gonna go do something else now.
