Yeah, my weekend was pretty uneventful. Somewhat productive, but uneventful. I managed to get all my homework done--the final assignment for this class. Tomorrow will be the final lecture. He's promised it will be short, because technically it's finals week and we aren't supposed to have class. But he had to miss one earlier in the quarter because of some type of meeting in Arizona, so we have a short class. Probably a brief lecture to cover the last few things that we didn't get to, hand back our papers, and then pass out our final exams. It's a take home final, and seeing as I got a 96 and 97 on the two in-class exams, I'm not really all that worried about it. And then, it's over. Until next quarter, though I'll be taking a technical class next time. The program I'm in requires you to take a total of 10 classes--five in their management track, and five technical ones. Then you finish it off with a big project instead of a thesis. I have a way to go before that though.
Anyway, other than homework, I did manage to get some housework done. Concentrated on the main living room and kitchen/dining room today. And got some laundry done, too. I think I'll have it mostly presentable by this weekend. I've unfortunately let things get a little out of hand. My housekeeping skillz are somewhat lacking. What's that? You don't spell "skillz" with a z? Huh...interesting.
In my free time--that is, when I wasn't either doing homework or cleaning house--I was mostly working my way through God of War on PS2. I finally fought my way through it and got to the end! Man, some of the levels are tough. The puzzles weren't really difficult, but the platforming was tricky. At least for someone who doesn't play a lot of platform games likes me. I didn't have that much difficulty with the combat aspects, except for the final battle with Ares, but certain parts of the platforming just nearly drove me insane. Mostly because it didn't seem like it should be that difficult...it's deceptive, that's what it is! Anyway, finally finished it. I'm not even going to bother with God Mode. I wouldn't get very far. So I guess I'll ship it back to GameFly tomorrow--or rather, Tuesday, since tomorrow is a postal holiday (President's Day). I wonder what they will send me? Ah well, doesn't matter. I still have Shadow of the Colossus to play while I'm waiting. I've taken out four of the Colossi so far.
And with that, I think I'll call it a night early tonight.
