It looks like my dad and I will finally have all the debt that we racked up (during my mom's last few months) cleared by the middle of next month.
After that I can actually go car shopping since I'll have back the damn near half of my monthly income that is going to said debt. Will have to give State Employee's Credit Union a call and see what they have to say about vehicle loans.
It would seem that my boss is in the early stages of planning to move our department to Greenville, NC. I so want to be ready to make that move and luckily it will take him at least a year to pull it off, plenty of time to buy another car.
Halo 2 on Xbox Live is really fun (Sanguine Dream is the tag but I'm usually only on Fri. and Sat. nights). But I am very glad I waited instead of buying a new Xbox just for Halo 2 to play on Live.

Got The Annotated Chronicles of Dragonlance from Amazon. I love that series and now I've got a copy of the version with the footnotes from the authors.
Been reading up on Linux. I may take a stab at it once I build a new machine and I'll use my current one as a test box.
