The slopes are tight and white
The pistes are clean and they gleam
Throughout the night

You can condemn yourself
To a 7 day course
We promise, there will be no remorse

pardon how random this is. i just searched 'warm jets' and you are one of four other people on all of livejournal who makes mention of the band. granted, they only had one album (and ten singles), but i do like them so. i hope you are speaking of the band as well, and not referring to the eno album (which is great too).
right-o, hello.

well i never thought anyone who had seen the warm jets still survives today. you have proven me wrong! sorry about the late reply. i'm a slacker at the journal business. x

ahah, glad to hear from you. even better that you do know who the warm jets are, we are very few indeed. just recently i collected all their singles, so i've been listening to them more than usual. do you know what ever came of them, of their demise? i heard louis had a new band called the luminare brothers, but that was a couple years back. heh, i doubt you are an active fan such as myself, but i really appreciate how they weren't part of any scene. and louis' voice is great.

hmm well i do remember (and this too was a fair few years back) that they were big in japan (apparently), at least their website claimed that it was so. they were still going back then, so i guess this could have been a fair few years ago... i forget how the years pass by :( i do love 'punk micky' and 'brother sister' and that other one 'panic and the queen' i think it's called... have you perchance heard of warm jets? they're from around the same era as the junket, though they had a single in the charts at some point entitled 'hurricane'... i used to love those days!
