I haven't given Joss Whedon enough credit up to now. I never watched Buffy, and never really got into Firefly. When I read about Dr. Horrible on Wired and then, like, everyone's blog, I was like "Okay, sure, a musical super villain blog. Sounds creative, albeit silly

I too am not a Joss Whedon fan in general, but I enjoyed Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog. Neil Patrick Harris totally sells it, and I thought it was some pretty brilliant storytelling for something with such a low budget. I get the sense that the actors did it for free because it was fun. I'd like to see the girl in more stuff in the future.
