so i'm bored and it is 1:02 am...
can't sleep b/c i've been thinking too much -___-. i'm not thinking about anything important though like i should be. i should be worrying about the japanese university applications...but i think i'm ok now. i got my cousin to proofread my statement of purpose and i already sent it to shimura-sensei. all i need to do now is fill out the applications and get pictures for them.
i'm thinking about my computer. my poor computer runs 24/7 because i download using bitcomet 24/7. do you know how many ways a person can download at one time? there's bittorrent, p2p using the save target as, using getright, using flashget, using net transport, soulseek, winmix (or something like that), i'm sure there's more but that's all i know of and use. i feel sorry for my computer T_T. i'm a slave driver. i'm sure it's thinking..."damn you. give me a break already" XD. as of right now i'm downloading the 54th NHK Kouhaku Utagassen which is an end of the year tv show that's sort of like music station super live but bigger i suppose. i really don't know. i've never seen a full show before so i'm excited to watch it. but it's downloading so slow T_T. i'm also downloading Stand Up! a tv series or drama if you want to call it that. it stars ninomiya kazunari from arashi (...)
yes i said arashi. arashi is a johnny's group and i'm ashamed to say that they're kinda growing on me. arashi not johnny's. i'll try not to get sucked into that portion of japanese music. johnny's and morning musume are a no no. there's nothing wrong with them, it's just that i think of johnny's and morning musume as dancing/singing robots. they sing and dance as they're told. they don't write their own music and they don't play any instruments. their songs are catchy and i can see why they're popular but...i don't know.
so why arashi then? good question. i find them amusing i guess. i've seen them perform on music station plenty of times but i've never paid attention to them because they were johnnys. but on utaban the hosts made it really intersting. nakai-san (the guy that i just realized is in SMAP...also johnnys) and ohno, the leader of arashi (currently 25 years old XD) argue with each other. it seems that they do this everytime arashi is on utaban. ohno and nakai-san would make fun of each other and insult each other until nakai-san would attack (yes attack) ohno while the other arashi members held him back and ohno would hide behind the other host. i didn't realize it was routine until i saw their other utaban appearances. that i think was the reason why i became interested in arashi. then i watched Gokusen, a tv series or drama that starred matsumoto jun who is a member of arashi and currently 23 years old (the youngest of arashi XD). gokusen i found intersting. i wanted to watch this show because i saw the anime for it and it was like the female version of onizuka from GTO. i also wanted to watch it because i knew that wentz and teppei from WaT were actors in it too. unfortunately wentz was only in one episode and his acting sucked ass and teppei is in Gokusen 2 (which has...what's his face from kat-tun another johnnys group). anyway matsumoto jun's acting was ok i suppose. at some points he was good and at some points i think he over acted. oh yea hiroki narimiya was in there also (he was in last quarter with hyde and nana with mika nakashima). so now i'm on a mission to find out how well the other arashi members are at acting. why? i suppose because it's winter break and i have nothing better to do XD. arashi (just like all the other johnnys group) have their own tv show or should i say shows. arashi as a group hosts G no Arashi and Mago Mago Arashi. matsumoto jun by himself hosts Utawarau (which used to be Minna no Terebi hosted by some other johnnys guy). i've downloaded G no Arashi and Mago Mago Arashi and my conclusion is...arashi are very VERY amusing. G no Arashi is about arashi picking something or some guy/group/person and support them in what they are doing. once in awhile they pop up with A no Arashi which is aiba (arashi member, age ??, birthday dec. 24th) doing all sorts of experiments. i've seen arashi playing minor sports (paintball was one of them), look for ufos, and play air guitar, piano, drums, and vocals. XD. In Mago Mago Arashi (mago means grandchild) 2 arashi members become magos for old people. they help with chores (cooking, picking food from the backyard, chasing chickens, enter boat competions, etc) and with whatever it is that the grandparents want or wish for. it's really interesting! people in japan pick their own food from their backyards! i've seen them hunt for mushrooms in atleast 3 episodes. they even make tempura out of dandelions!! not only is it fun to see arashi suffer but they show a lot of japanese culture in that show too. they've had other shows previous to G no Arashi and Mago Mago Arashi called D no Arashi and some others with different letters. but i don't know what they're about b/c i haven't seen them ^^".
well arashi is composed of 5 very fine looking young men. there's ohno (leader), matsumoto jun (youngest), sakurai sho (rapper), ninomiya kazunari (2nd youngest), and aiba masaki. so of course since its a group i gotta have a favorite. (don't deny it. you always have a favorite no matter what) so my favorite is ninomiya. again why? because hes cho kawaii~ and has nice hair XD. yes it is true, i like him because of his hair. i find nino to be the most intersting out of the 5. so far i know that he plays the guitar and the piano and he composes music. what music i have no idea. i want to know what songs he composed. ah! and i think he has the best voice out of the 5. i'm ashamed to say i did watch an arashi concert. in that concert each member had a solo part and nino had the best voice in my opinion. oh and aiba sweats like raymond.
the end.
