Since last I have recovered from being ill again, I'm on penicillin for 10 days.
I went home for a week and got to meet my nephew. Unfortunately I was sick with the flu and banished to the lay-z-boy because my bed was appropriated. Baby's beautiful.
Mistress Julia and I took a small excursion to New York for a couple of days. First night we spent with Kelly and Aaron downtown. Left my phone in the apartment when we went out. We tried to go to Kenka but there were an unusual amount of people there for a Wednesday night so we went to "Asian Pub," the Beauty Bar which was fun, good music and manicures, and then we had 4 nightcap pitchers at the Blarney Cove. Oof! Julia went to Brooklyn and I went back to Aaron's with someone I thought was a friend of his to go to sleep on an air mattress with a hole in it. I fell asleep and he left his purse on the couch when he dashed to get to the newspaper he said he edited photos for in the morning. Kelly and I shamelessly looked through it and managed to find a phone number, Julia came back and Aaron's roommate Tim, Julia and I went for bagels. Tim went to see Wu-Tang so we went to
Fabulous Fannies, I got a new pair of frames which I have just realized are the boy counterparts to my cat-eyes.
Pearl River Mart
Babeland
Sugar Sweet Sunshine for Cupcakes and Coffee. The pistachio was delicious.
Economy Candy where I picked up some Turkish Delight and Peppermint Bark...and a t-shirt.
We decided we needed some entertaining so we went to the movies and saw the Orphanage, which was frightful but fantastic.
After the movie we walked outside into a snowstorm so we met up with Rockwell and Ms. Lauren in Lauren's apartment on 34th street, then we went to Brooklyn to Raquel's where the rest of the night got a little hazy with beer, pizza, hmhmmph, and a lot of catching up to do. Derek wasn't there, Aria, Lauren, and Sal hung out. I wished I could have seen Stella but I know how much jobs can grab you by the boo boo. ya know?
We're back in Philly, back to work, back to school soon. whla.
Today, I had nothing planned until Eric, weird?, woke me up by banging on the door because he was locked out of his house. We ended up riding to the Anthropology museum in West Philly, well he rode the tallbike, saw some mummies. Then we went foodshopping at Trader Joe's for Indian food to make for dinner. Then to TLA to rent some flicks. We decided on Event Horizon, Slumber Party Massacre, and Whale Rider. Hannah and Cody went to Jersey, Kelly blew a peace sign and went back to New York so Eric and I watched those three movies and then Gattaca.
Crazy, so he's sleeping on the couch and I'm conferencing with Kids in the Hall in my room.
I hope I can get to the Museum of Sex opening on the 31st and see Xina and Jef when they come in February, til then.
