tuesday night i went to the pistons game. my cousin's baby (cuteness equivalent to baby jack) was crawling all over and bouncing. she's the most well-behaved baby i've ever seen. anyhoo, i checked my phone at halftime and saw i got a voicemail. listened to it and it was k rizzle's message from monday. i was like "what the crap?!" so i just turned the phone off b/c i'd already listened (and responded) to that message. yesterday i turned my phone on just before my RESCHEDULED dentist appt to see i had a voicemail. it was j bizzle, who had called the previous night about going to hunan for lunch. i obviously couldn't go, so i tried to call a couple of people and, low and behold, IT WOULDN'T CONNECT! told father. still won't be getting a new phone until may. yeah... nextel- YOU SUCK! and motorola, too. so as of now, you can try calling my p.o.s. and maybe it will work. if not, leave a voicemail and i just might get it w/in a day or two...
yesterday was interesting. at my dentist appt, which was rescheduled from the wednesday after christmas up to then, they fixed the "damage" done to my teeth by braces. braved 4 shots of novacaine and a completely numb nose and lower face. did somebody say phil?...
after that i tried to finish christmas shopping. drove down mackinaw to the mall and was bombarded w/ ice being thrown at my windshield. threw the car into reverse and was about to beat some kids' asses, but they were too far down in the ditch, so i called 911. i'm amazed my window didn't break and even more amazed i didn't drive into the huge county ditch. dumbass kids...
today i worked out in the field doing audits and whatnot. that was interesting. we definately ended up in the ditch, which was somehow mistaken for a driveway. yeah, i don't get it either. but boys are dumb like that. i got to see the not-so-fine parts of midland. it's a nice reminder of how much worse things could be and how nice i have it. yeah. i'll be back out there tomorrow and maybe i'll get to climb a pole? probably not, but one can hope...
went to the mall again today to help andy w/ his shopping. saw everyone from nouvel and their mothers. also saw some b.c. friends. that was weird. but all in all, it was fun for being last minute...
