Another interesting thing to happen to me at Central Park: I had a Spanish deaf tourist come in. Neither quality is that uncommon, but it was interesting to hear when she did speak she could roll her Rs. It made for this funny trilling noise, which I thought was cute. It's interesting to think about how deaf people can communicate. I mean, when someone speaks Spanish you don't see them roll their Rs, so how does a deaf person know that applies to the language spoken around them? I thought it was very intriguing.
