Part 1: The Last post from Corey on this issue anonymous July 13 2005, 05:31:25 UTC
It amazes me that when people don't agree with what the Bible says on a particular issue, they automatically say that it was translated wrong. The fact is, you're always gonna have people that will say that this Greek word might actually mean this, even though all of the translators before them translated it to mean that. That issue will always be there. Here is the point I'm getting at. Forget all of the politics and research and "scientific studies", and look at the standard for life, The Bible. People who don't want to accept the truth insist on scientific proof or psychological studies to prove their own "theories". People who belong to real churches, not these abominations that are called "Gay churches", but the real, true churches that teach the whole Bible and its real meanings, these people believe the Bible 100% and take it at its face value. They don't start to question issues that the Bible calls "sin" or "abominations" and say, "I don't think God was really talking about stealing in this passage (even though it says "stealing"), I think He was talking about lying." When people start to retranslate the Bible to make it fit their opinions and beliefs, they start walking down a dangerous road. Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves."
