NeonBunny at Further Confusion - Music

Further Confusion was tons of fun.  Every year it just gets better and better.  Despite now being broke, from staying in an expensive hotel, it was well worth it.

Tons of fursuiting, tons of beer (yes,l literally, my poor liver), tons of friends, and tons of music.

With inspiration from tastyeagle , I got a go-pro camera last week.  Local company that makes great HD video cameras perfect for sports as well as time lapse photography.

While I didn't shoot one shot with my normal digital camera, I did end up with well over 10,000 jpgs from the go-pro.  All of which will be compiled into time-lapse videos.  Working on most of them, and will upload them later in the week when I have them all edited and uploaded to youtube.  In the meantime, I have the first done, which is from the Saturday Night Dance.  The hard part of the go-pro is the dedication to hanging out where I can keep an eye on where the camera won't move for a long time, especially from sticky paws.  The dance was perfect, as I had to hang out in the same spot for 1.5 hours anyways.

So here's a composite of that, plus, about half an hour from earlier in the night when I'd stuck the camera to the floor and danced around it during AudioDile's set.

As well, I managed to take my digital recorder, and this time it worked!  For most dj's, recording their set is easy, as most of the dj's there use laptops, where it automatically records what they play, or the dj is playing their set song for song that they've been working on for weeks, so they could have just plugged into their home computer 2 weeks ago and recorded what they practiced, and it would have sounded exactly the same as what they played there.  I work a little different, I have my book of music, including a few cd's of my most recent favorites that I think might work well, and when it's time to play, I pick a song, and see how the audience reacts before deciding on the next song to play.  This time, I thought I needed to really switch it up after the dj before me, so decided to throw in an intro I occasionally use, then drop into some electro swing before transitioning to house for the rest of the night.
