Always a day late and a dollar short...
I went to college just outside of Atlantic City, NJ. That whole area was crap. There was NOTHING to do... except for our weekly Wednesday night trip out to Philadelphia. Otherwise... complete wasteland.
I cannot believe how many GOOD bands now play in AC (at the Borgata and new House of Blues). It's actually a legitimate venue. The Killers, Social Distortion, and White Stripes are all playing in September/October. And the theatres they play in are nice little intimate venues. Why couldn't they have anything like this when I was in college? Or at least even A YEAR AGO when I was in the area... and bored...
