So I've been home almost a week now. I spend the first couple of days working non-stop in front of my computer. Wednesday night I had the choice to either go to the goth night in Philadelphia with a bunch of badly dressed children and ren-faire freaks trying to get laid OR hitup the Tropicana in Atlantic City for their deep stack tournament...

If you ever want to take a break from online poker but still want a good online game, Yahoo Games has dominoes, I play it when I'm on tilt sometimes if it's too late to go outside for a walk.

Oh wow neat... my nieces came over tonight and I played with them and now my nephews are coming over tomorrow and asked if I'd play with them.

Definitely have to buy a set when I get to Ireland... I'm so hooked.

I'm definately not a grand master of dominoes though. I've tried approaching the game like I did poker, buy a book, play a bunch and try to reason through the game as much as I could... but the book kind sucks and I always see to lose. heheh...

Actually finding a set to use was pretty hard, most were really cheesy kidy sets from toy stores. I finally found a really nice one in an english import store at a mall. It was full of really cheesy cards and scarves and dolls and such, but they had a small stack of games in the back. It wasn't too expensive either.

You need to go to Tiajuana (I'm sure I spelled that wrong).... all there is to buy down there are chiclets and domino sets.
