World Series of Poker

After going back and forth on whether or not I wanted to do it... I've decided to play in this year's Ladies Event at the WSOP. I chose the Ladies event because, well, it's the least expensive. That said, it's still way too much money. So far I've sold off 10% to 2 individuals at my company... anyone else looking for a piece of me?

But

is 2.5% such an overly small and pathetic amount that you won't accept it?

Actually, I would be honored!

I let the people in my department purchase in 1% increments... so far I've sold 33% which is pretty good considering I wanted to sell off half. I think I can wrestle up another 10% sponser in Vegas once I get there and track down some more coworkers.

I actually had people come up to me and ask if they could get take some action... which I was really flattered about. I haven't been playing too seriously this year and it was nice to know that not everyone thinks I suck :)

You sound like you know what you're during especially since you're better than Layne Flack, you're practically guarenteed to get a bracelet LOL, but seriously, it'll be kinda cool to be involved in some way with the WSOP, it'll give me a reason to follow the action more than I have. I really haven't been following it other than reading the blog feeds on my LJ friends list (card squad, Dr.Pauly and the Poker Grub), but apparently there's all sorts of media restrictions because of Card Player, no one can give any sort of live update. It sucks ( ... )

And yea, FTP account is fine... 2.5% is $25 and my FTP account is neonnova

And anyone can go to the FTP suite... it's a really nice lounge.

Ok, I sent the transfer, hopefully you should get it soon. What's your real name so I can try and keep track of your progress. Will you be listed in red since you're a friend of FTP? If you don't want to post your real name in your blog, send me an email through this link - http://tinyurl.com/gyscx (I don't like posting my email address where spammers can get it).

Dr. Pauly is Paul McGuire's pen name, he writes for PokerPlayer Newspaper and writes the blog Toa of Poker (amoung others) and also writes for the lasvegasvegas blog.
