Wireless is usualy a pain in my ass
So I got my new wireless duel-band router yesterday (Linksys E3000) and was planning on taking today to set it up. I'm used to pulling teeth to get them to work how I would like them, changing a setting here and there so all my wireless devices will connect automatically. Today I plugged it into the laptop to start up the set up. 5 minutes later I had a wireless network, and with a quick change of the name and password my desktop connected automatically with out me even being upstairs to connect it. ^.^ I like how they give you a random router name and generated password. That is a smart idea for people that don't know to much about them. I just used my old stuff more out of habit than to make my live easier. I have to say cisco has stepped up on there game. I also found out that our laptop is wireless N, so Jamie should be happy about the increased range of it. Today is going well...
