Chillin' in da hood and its good!
hey all, today was pretty cool...this whole week me and adam mccreeery have been counselors at camp tilikum a kids camp out in new berg. so today we got on this bus and like always we go to bed bc its 7 o clock in the morning on a summer day. so then this lil girl named sophie in first grade thinks its funny to wake me up every ten seconds and say, ' o look its tilikum were there'.and so i couldnt get to sleep for awhile..but then i said no more talking to her and she obeyed and i slept the whole way there. but right when the kids see the sign for camp tilikum all breaks lose out of its overly packed can. eveyr kid starts chatting tilikum on their own beat and rythm so it sounds like a chorus of deaf ( and tone deaf) children. at some points it even hurts the eears but w/e its life. so then we get there and all the kids run around the camp for a few minutes while the counselors have a meeting about the day. *NOTICE* the goal of the camp for most of the kids and their pathetic lives is to catch a newt. now ive never tried but it seems kind of hard bc only like one kid has done it and they all haled him as king. so they are all spwraled out on the bridges and walk ways while we r trying to get somewhere its kind of lame. so then after that my team goes to archery, now this is a fun time for me usually bc i get to interact witht he kids and do some of the activity myself. but not this time....it was blazing hot out and all the kids were arguing over whos the best or who goes next or whatever so it was lame and all the kids were complaining and being disrespectful to out leader who's name is pom-pom...a.k.a. amy, but were not supposed to call her taht...shhhh! so n e ways after that we went up to this maze where the kids were blindfolded and had to depend on each other and a leader to get thru. so this one kid tai was put as the spot of leader and when he finished up the maze he started crying and ran all the way down the huge hill we had just climbed up to run down to the main center. so pom pom chased after him and i was left all alone with 11 fifth graders and nothing to do. so i grabbed her back pack and lead the fifth graders on adventure to find pom pom and long lost tai, and so we traveled back the rout we had come and we found them down at camp base. pom pom was trying to get thru to him but she thought that he needed some male counseling so i followed him the mile hike to the camp director's office where he was gonna callnhis dad and tell him that he wanted to be picked up...so i tried to convince him not to. and after 30m minutes of me and three other ppl tring to convince he finally gave up and told us that hed give camp another chance. so the day b4 i had promised him a piggyback so as a bribe i used that to get him to come back to camp so i gave him a pggy back ride up a hill, with my back pack on and him with his back pack on....OUCH! but ya and that was all b4 lunch..... so then after lunch was swim time and today was the last day this week that u can take the swim test. at tilikum u can get either a d for deep, a m for medium, or a s for shallow(doesnt require a rtest for shallow). n e ways so we jump into the medium...it goes up to our hips. so we pas the test with flying colors and we r into the deep end. and then we were swimming round havin a jolly ol' time and all of sudden my chest started hurting and now it still hurts and i dont know what it is...but n e ways. so swim time was good and i ended the day with a nice nap while my group talked about jesus! so ya,.... and then on the way home my sis heidi and adam got in a crumb fight and the bus looked like crap.
so earlier tonight im tryin to plan something at my house and sarah makes it relly difficult by saying that her parents wont take her n e where. so then i am forced to go over to house but then finnert calls me up and is like dude lets chill and ur house instead so i hafta do that and sarah got screwed....sorry! so finert got here and we took pictures that u can see on my pic site and we listened to music and argued with rach about why she shouyld come to class parties.vand now he just left and im tired so i will see u guys l8r! Out.
