things i am looking forward to when i get home:
- npr in the kitchen while i'm making dinner
- sitting at powell's on hawthorne for ten hours straight drinking tea and reading every fucking book ever written by anyone about physics and/or plant communication, until the angry tall kind of potbellied guy says on the speaker that they're closing and you'd better use the bathroom NOW if you need to use it
- going down to eugene to a swimming hole with clint, and maybe harvey (the wiener dog)
- sushi! oh my god! sushi!
- concerts
- terminator stout and sweet potato fries. fuck yeah.
- and of course $3 movies and lots of beer
- laughing planet (specifically, the burrito with the black beans and spinach, and cheeeese, and the bowl with chard and tempeh and shiitake garlic sauce....mmmm..................)
- getting on a dragon boat team (though i may turn up too late for that)
- availability of christmas lights year round, and not just in funny colors or with flowers attached
- hiking on trails that actually go somewhere
