I found out yesterday that the guy I had a major crush on in High School is married. I feel cheated.

Awww... on a different note.... I'm going to my second wedding since June. Why does it feel like I'm too young to have friends getting married??

*Snort* I know what you mean. When I heard the news, I had to count backwards to see when we had graduated. I felt like maybe I missed a whole couple of years or something. I guess some people just don't waste their time. I only hope for there sake that it wasn't a brash decision.

Yeah, in this case I don't think so, but still.... where is the young and adventurous part of life? ::sigh:: Anyways, do you really snort? I have a great friend of mine who snorts (not drugs or anything) but as a laugh, more or less.

LOL. I guess it's not so much a snort as an 'expelling of air through the nasal cavity' kind of thing. A precursor to a laugh if you will. 'Snort' is just easier to understand in terms of internet lingo. (and less wordy)

:oP

Ahh yes.... in lieu of saying what you said in your semi-long winded interpretation of what happens, ;-) , I just got "lol". So yes, in IMs I tend to go LOL a lot and it may seem I'm on the floor laughing, I'm not, could it be called a chortle?

Yes I think it could be considered a 'chortle'. I seriously doubt that most people actually drop out of their chairs laughing, only to get up and type 'LOL'. Of course, you could always start a new trend and type 'COL' (Chortling out loud)

*giggle*

And if you were to actually end up on the floor [they'd have to be really funny] then you could use ROTFL - rolling on the floor laughing.)
