"It's never over, my kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder..."

"It's never over, all my riches for her smiles when I sleep so soft against her..."

I was going to go have lunch with Leslie yesterday, but we weren't hungry. So, We drove around a bit and then wound up at the Starbucks where Julie works. It was fun, but terribly unproductive.

"It's never over, all my blood for the sweetness of her laughter..."

I went to see the Wooten Brothers at 3rd and Lindsley. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. They are all virtuosos on their respective instruments. If you're familiar with Victor Wooten, who plays bass with Bela Fleck, just imagine 5 of him... and he's the YOUNGEST...

We are all going to the Ryman tonight.

"It's never over, she is the tear that hangs inside my soul forever..."

Now... This is about 3 weeks late, but here is an update of "40 questions about last year." (to see last year's answers, go here...)

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
I joined ASCAP. I went to Chicago.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
My resolutions were to “quit smoking, get in better shape, remodel the new condo, save more money, clean up my foul mouth, drive slower and I'm seriosly consider getting hypnotized to see if they can make me gay... I am really tired of playing with girls.”

The rest will carry over I guess.

Jessica! No question…

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.
In 2003 it was “Don't play with girls!”

"Everyone is here with me, but they’re just here to be seen…”
Bleeding - Flickerstick

“I thought that Nashville would infuse me, but it hasn't happened yet...

It was, overall, a boring year. Maybe this one will be better.
