Home Sweet Home!
so ive finally moved in w/ ebeda in north augusta! it feels good to be in familiar territory with close friends and my boyfriend less than 5 minutes away. it feels good to know Mike is so close after spending the past year of our relationship 2 1/2 hrs away from each other. i dont think it has fully sunk in yet that we're together but i can already feel a huge weight of sadness and anxiety lift off my chest. the apartment is great and its in a great location...right across the river from Broad St. plus, the Rec Center gym is a minute away and theyve got some great workout equipment. i was so exhausted yesterday but i got almost all my stuffs moved in and then mike, liz, and joe surprised me with a cake and icey creams...pics of which you can view on ebeda's journal. we ate cake, icey creams, and watched Nymph Fever 3, the only porn we watch for the plot..its so funny! i dont know that Mike found it quite as humorous since he fell asleep. it also feels good to have a roommate i can trust. not that i mistrusted my other roommates, but i did keep my door closed all the time and i hid a lot of myself from them. now, i can leave my door open, keep my passwords for email and such saved on liz's compy, and walk around naked. i was greeted immediately yesterday by joe grabbing me and liz topless. oh Lawd, with all of us in this house, its going to be a constant orgy. joe's always going to have the video camera ready just in case. hes going to plant stiletto heals in our rooms and slash our pillows so feathers can fly everywhere and wait for us to get mad at each other: "now liz, get mad at karla and hit her with the pillow. but giggle when you do it..and karla, jump on top of liz and pull her hair". keep checking the internet for more details. i dont know how Blanca's adjusting. i hope she does ok but i hope with Imo here she wont feel so lonely when we're gone. i still need to find a stinky job. i think liz and i are going to go to a staffing agency when she and joe get back from Pawley's on tuesday. but for now, i must finish unpacking so i can go movie hopping with Mikey tonight!
