I got to talk to my friend dave today when I arrived at work...its been at least two days since I saw him and I believe its from the large amount of MMORPG's he is playing now. Anyways, I got into a discussion with him about monthly costs for online games and I told him that I would never pay to play for another online game. Right now he is playing WoW which is a $14.99 a month investment and PSO-Blue Burst which is another $8 dollars a month. At the time it seemed like a lot of money but really 8 dollars a month isn't that much. Tonight at work a lady ordered a glass of wine from the resturant and wanted it delivered to her room so since the bar was closing and everyone had gone home I was sent to do it. The glass, a small wine glass of Merlo (I know nothing more about this wine other then its a vintage of wine), came to $7.04 with tax included. Thats 7 dollars for a glass of wine...7 freaking dollars. Looking back, a glass of wine can last you...I don't know, a maximum of 20 minutes if you are a slow drinker while PSO-Blue Burst lasts an entire month. I guess what it boils down to is what people desire and if their desire outweights the cost.
