Yay for Gay!

So, awesome political news for teh gays, both New Hampshire AND Maine's senates passed marriage equality bills toady! In one freakin day!  That's so ridiculously awesome - not to mention the Matthew Sheppard Act finally passed congress yesterday (I watched it on CSPAN haha.)  It's like karma for having to dealw ith  Bush for eight years is finally coming back to us.  It's amazing how fast things are changing, and reminds us just how sweet Massachusetts and New England are.  The good news doesn't stop there though, as New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island are all expected to vote on marriage equality in the coming months as well, and there's a large chance of them all passing ( certainly in New Jersey, where there already are civil unions - and Rhode Island recognizes out of state same sex marriages.)  Plus The CA supreme court is deciding this month if proposition 8 can be thrown out, which it reallly really needs to be.
