Age of your account: 55 months (as of yesterday, shield hasn't changed yet). I have not taken a break or stopped playing since my account was created.
Number of pets you own: 12, 4 on main and 8 on sides.
What was your motivation for chosing your pets that you have including why and how your pets were painted, if applicable (please narrow this question down to no more than 6 of your pets):
The pets on my sides mainly exist because I collect Techos with nice names and nice paint jobs. They were all adopted through the pick_a_pet community and labbed to their colors.
As for my pets on my main account:
Trudy - she was a blue techo and got zapped by Boochi. She is also the only pet I've ever created.
FreindlyToto - Is my lab rat, but I love her to death.
Lisha_Anne - I got from someone on pick_a_pet and I'm waiting to transfer her to my newest side as soon as the pound is back up.
Derxon - Also from someone on pick_a_pet. He hosts my 1np collection page and he is not going anywhere.
Please elaborate your thoughts/accomplishments on the following:

- Your Pets (age, petpages, graphics, personalities, petpets. etc):
Derxon is always ready to help out - he's fun and out going and likes to play Yooyou ball! I need to get him a nice matching petpet at some point. Trudy is my baby - my first pet and the one that I have the most emotional attachment to. She's always cheerful and loves to play games, read books, and fight in the battledome once in a while. FreindlyToto doesn't mind that his name is misspelled! He LOVES being zapped by the lab ray (even if it turns him into a girl sometimes) and he likes the new customizable clothing - even if I only get him the cheap stuff. - The Battledome (Your pets stats, weapons, conquered opponents, etc):
I'm not really big on the battledome. I train Trudy sometimes just so she can be ready for any plots. Someday I would like to finish the DoN series and get all the battledome avatars, but that is a pretty long-term goal considering the price of codestones. - Collecting (Avatars, trophies, maps, stamps, gallery items, etc):
Avatar Collector! Collecting avatars is my main focus on neopets. I also have been focusing more on trophies lately. I really want a trophy for Dubloon Disaster since it is one of my favourite games.. - Gaming (Favorites, what you excel at, grandmaster scores, etc):
Mostly I play games for the avatars and for the neopoints. I don't really play games to get high scores, just to get to the 1000np cut-off and quit. With the new changes in np ratio calculation, it forces me to get a new set of 1000np games every month. - Favorites(games, items, avatars, pets, anything neo):
Techos, techos, techos! I don't like the eyelashes in the redraws so much, but the rest of the techo hasn't changed much. I have a techo gallery, and I'm just waiting for some of the techo clothing prices to drop so I can buy those, too. My favourite avatar is the MSPP avatar which I am currently save to borrow for full collateral. But it seems like I will never get there because I can't quite earn np as fast as inflation! - Neo Activity (how often you play, guild activity, where/what you spend your time doing, etc):
I'm on neopets EVERY. Single. Day. Yup. Form anywhere from 1 hour to 7 hours straight. Usually I chat with people in my guild (neopian_adults guild), play games for np, buy/sell on the TP, and stock my shop. Basically, anything that will make more np. I also like to play the stocks, but that is more a long term thing. Lots of waiting. Also, I collect Wooden Blocking Shields like crazy. - Non-Neo Activity (where you are from, your real pets, what you do in your spare time, interests etc):
In Real life, I live in Pennsylvania, USA. I work as a Technical Writer full time (and when I get most of my neopets time in!). I have a really short commute which is really wonderful. My boyfriend and I like to watch movies together and also cook dinner together sometimes. We have been together since 2001, so I'm just waiting for him to pop "the question". I don't have any pets in real life, so that makes my neopets even more special to me!
Please answer the following honestly:
What major or minor goals have you accomplished thus far: My avatar collection is rather large (275), and the Number Six avatar was a major goal for me to reach. I also got the BGC shortly after it was released by Tarla. I also am going to be in the NT for the second time coming up this weekend! Major excitement!
What are your current goals: Finishing my WC Lost Desert map and saving up towards MSPP.
What is your ultimate goal(s): To have a complete techo items gallery, to have MSPP avatar, and to finish all stamp albums.
Have you been frozen? If so, why? Nope, never.
What makes you feel that you are elite? I have been on neopets for a long time, consistantly. My account might not be the best one out there, but I have put a lot of work into it and I think that shows.
Why do you want to join this community? I just want to be in a community where I don't have to see the OMG HOW DOES THIS THING WORK type posts every day.
Out of curiosity, how did you find us? Through neopian_adults - I heard about it a long time ago (I believe there was some drama), but never saw a reason to join until now (the influx of new users on lj is killing me).
Anything else you would like to add: I'm just hoping that this community is more active than it looks from the "outside".
