You know what I really love? Not only is this picture amazingly adorable, but the full image also has Austria and Japan, the two non-family members you could argue are closest to Italy and Germany.
And their both petting their own cats.
It just shows how comfortable and close Italy and Germany are, even letting their alternate selves be cuddled by the other.
Also, yes, agreeing with your above comment: GERMANY, WHY SO CUTE!!!!
Germany is so adorable under his tough guy attitude.
My first point (which I probably should have worded better) was that Japan and Austria are, outside family, the closest people to Italy and Germany. But they don't get to swap cats, that's just for Italy and Germany. It goes subtly reenforces the idea that what the two have is way more than friendship, which I totally love.
I went back and reread my first comment and thought "Aoife, what the heck are you trying to say, it's all over the place". Aw well, I was actually coherent so hurrah.
Don't feel bad for cropping them, you gave a link to the full image and to be honest, Italy and Germany's image is more interesting.
