Viz has licensed Majin Neuro's anime adaptation for a R1 release.
Please allow me to repeat that, so I can more fully savor the mind-blowing deliciousness of those words: Viz has licensed Majin Neuro's anime adaptation for a R1 release.
OH. MY. GAAAWD~
I wish I had an official press release to link y'all to, but due to the bizarre circumstances regarding this announcement, you're just gonna have to make due with
this for the time being. (LMFAO, it looks like Viz mixed up the anime synopsis with a summary of the manga. Oops! Though, speaking of which, if they also licensed the manga? MY LIFE WOULD BE COMPLETE.)
And what do I mean by bizarre circumstances? Well, technically, this license wasn't supposed to have been announced yet. People found out about it early when the March issue of Shonen Jump (accidentally?) shipped out earlier this month, the article announcing the license contained therein. *rimshot*
Now, I know Viz isn't exactly the créme de la créme when it comes to anime releases, but I am just so incredibly grateful that this show is finally making its way to American shores. It is, without a trace of hyperbole, my favorite anime/manga series of all time. I... I just... I love it so much. You have no idea. GUH. ;o;
I thought this day would never come.
