To live without allies. To live without enemies. Such is the way of balance. Seek friendship and inadvertently you will find foes. Know hate and most certainly you know love.
I understand why my time spent away from here took so much out of me. Never before had I known such great friendship. Likewise, never before have I had such dislike for those who have turned against me. I cannot regret the feelings that reassure my humanity. Further still, I cannot walk the path in balance with an unruly spirit in tow; and yet for now I must learn to carry both reason and emotion together on my shoulders.
