~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Apparently we were due to have very very wet weather today. The sky goes dark green/grey and all of a sudden BOOM. We're not in Kansas anymore. Several reports of tornadoes touching down in places where they usually do not touch were issued today. One state trooper is in the hospital because his car got flipped over by the twister while he was still in it. (that's pretty funny actually) All roads we might have needed to travel down are closed and the train tracks are definitely cluttered with rubbish. Of course, none of this took place right here ::gestures towards the ground:: We here just went on pretending we were at a water park while the town 3 minutes from us got hammered. Before the rain let loose though the humidity was INTENSE! Let me tell you something about humidity - you know it's going to be stormy when you've taken a nice crisp sheet of paper outside and it's already dampened by the time you've walked 37 paces. Bring your inhalers, folks.
Despite all the hullabaloo, there really wasn't much to get terribly excited about. If only there had been a flying cow. Just one. That would have made my entire day.
