Today I joined an indoor soccor team. First sports team I've been apart of since I played Baseball in the 9th grade. It's a coed non-competitive league, and I'm playing with my Brother, Chris, maybe Adam and Rachel, and then 5-6 others that I have yet to meet. I think it's going to kick my ass for the first couple games until I get used to the constant running.
On the same line of thought, I just got a gym membership today. It's at the CRC rowing center beneath the boathouse. 4 month membership cost me $100, I'll see how things go after the 4 months are up. My goal is to head to the gym 3 times a week at least.
Current Weight - 175lb
Target Weight - 190lb
New Years was a good time. Adam decided that he was going to spend it with Rachel, instead of bar hopping with me like he said the night before. I wasn't in the mood to hang out with the 2 of them again, they're great, but not on New Years. I called my brother, and we hung out with his friends. I was with about 9 others and we visited several crappy places on the west side. All in all though it was a great time, saw a couple people get their ass kicked at sheltons in Cheviot(which from what I've heard is normal for that place). The highlight of the night was when Buddy(my brothers retarded best friend, who gets completely wasted everyweekend and is very beligerent when drinking) actually tell me to chill because I was yelling obsenities at some people who were hanging out a window talkign to us. It's a complete role-reversal of our normal selves.
Oh yeah, and I'm talking to a 23 year old woman. She has 2 kids, and lives in Goshen. We've just begun correspondence but so far we're uncannily similar. It's been so long since I've done any sort of dating, but I think it's been long enough and that I'm ready. What I don't know is how to act around her children, but I'll figure that one out.
Maybe I should rethink the 2nd job for a bit with working out and soccer.
