Raúl Gonzalez/Fernando Morientes, Fernando Morientes/David Villa, PG.
One
"My beard's all tangled," Fernando murmurs, hands digging into the synthetic hair strapped to his face. He rustles his robe around him and turns to Edu, "can I borrow your comb, Gaspar?"
Two
The day Fernando moves into his house for his family, he rings up Xabi, "I have to child proof everything, have you got a toolkit?"
A few seasons on, when Xabi goes to his storage cabinet to child proof his own house, finally, there is not a screwdriver nor wrench in sight.
Three
It's late, and they're drunk and so he plants one on Villa under the mistletoe.
Four and Five
The others watch in amusement and mostly in astonishment as they watch Fernando sing over the borrowed loudspeaker, charmed from the flight attendants on the London to Nice red-eye after Chelsea, easily won over by his his trademark smile and laugh.
An hour later, unable to steal a few minutes of decent rest, even lighthearted Ludo groans and jams a pillow over his head.

The day Mamen floated down the aisle toward him, the most beautiful figure in white, the envy of all the men in the room, the one everyone had their eyes on in the church, all Raúl's eyes kept doing was straying to the right of him, Fernando, sitting in a pew, eerily composed, knuckles white at his grip on the prayer book, a smile gracing his face laced with sadness only the two of them could sense.
Raúl still isn't sure what Fernando took from him that day, but it's been missing for a long time.
