My cousin is pledging a fraternity at UPitt...

Their "story" reads like the plot to a romantic movie...

One of these groups based their linking together on the idea that a social club was the solution to their problem. The other felt that a fraternity (about which they knew little except for the two groups on campus) was the correct solution. With the contact of these two groups, it was immediately evident that one could not get along without the other and the union was made.<
In other words, the 2 groups met cute, ignored each other, found they couldn't ignore each other, and knew that their only hope of survival was to MERGE MERGE MERGE!

Kind of scary, since I don't do "groups" very well (news flash: Lyonside does not play well with others)... but he says there's no hazing. So far my cuz has to 1) wear a suit and tie and frat pin at all times, and 2) clean the house first sober, then drunk... at least one of the options wasn't naked... yet...
