A friend of mine (Hi, Justin!) referred to this journal as a "blog" recently. For some reason, I never thought of it that way. And for another reason I can't quite fathom, that seemed odd to me. Maybe part of me associates "blog" with "Internet", and I've never really considered myself part of it before. Maybe I just never considered myself a "blogger". Food for thought...
Anyway, I promised my fans pictures from
Megacon, but it is not to be, just yet. Half of the pictures came back from the store blank, and most of the rest are overexposed. I picked out a couple I thought were acceptable for human consumption, but, of course, my scanner is broken. *sigh* That's not really a surprise, really. That scanner is ancient, and it's been through a lot of bumps and scrapes. Anyway, I plan on making a little trip to Kinko's soon, to avail myself of there scanning and printing facilities.
I finally got around to running my D&D adventure last weekend with
mrs_ladybug,
warp_and_woof, Evoldood, and Cake last weekend. (I guess I should have written about it sooner. Ah, well.) It went pretty well, actually. We get started earlier than usual, and everybody participated well. Good times were had by all, and at least one head was bashed in, which is often the mark of quality adventure.
On an anime front,
mrs_ladybug and I have joined up with the
Tampa Bay Anime Club, and we're pretty excited about it. They seem like a groovy bunch of folks, and they seem to have decent taste in entertainiment. We're going to attend their pre-meeting lunch next weekend, in the hopes of getting to know some of them better. I'm turning into a regulare people-person. Eerie.
Well, that's enough "blogging" for now. I'm definitely gonna work on my web site this weekend. I still have plenty of digital pics I can put up, and I need to get more programming done for it. Yahoo!
Out.
