CHAPTER FOUR

Aoi was half awake half asleep until his alarm clock fully awakened him. "Oh, good, you're up." Aoi's eyes shot open at the foreign voice in his bedroom. That was definitely not his mother. "Uru..Ur...Uruha...? What are you--"Sorry, to surprise you. But Tashima-chan insisted I come pick you up and your mother let me in saying she had an early errand to run. She sent me up to your room." Uruha explained. Aoi suddenly realized that his hair was a huge mess. "Ah, um, excuse me!" Aoi jumped out of his bed and ran into the bathroom. His hands clenched the sink, he looked into the mirror, hyperventilating as he did so. 'Uruha is here! Uruha is here! He saw me, he saw my hair a mess!' Aoi inwardly screamed. 'Fix it, I--I need to fix myself up.'

Aoi rummaged through his hair supplies in the bathroom and pulled out a hair straightener. "S-Sorry to keep you waiting." Aoi bowed as he exited the bathroom a good thirty minutes later. Uruha looked up from his book and smiled at Aoi, Aoi nearly falling over at the sight of the beautiful smile. "I'm glad you're finally finished in there. We're late for school." Uruha said calmly, not looking bothered by the fact of being late. "A-Ah! I'm so sorry, Uruha-san! Please forgive--ah, I'm not even in my uniform!" Aoi quickly ran to his closet and pulled out a clean uniform. "Here, I'll help you get dressed." Uruha said, setting down his book and walking over to Aoi. "Wha--" Aoi blushed when Uruha's fingers began to work on the buttons of his pajama shirt. "Aoi are you sick?" Uruha asked, his fingers halting in their work.

"N-No..why do you ask?" Aoi said, his eyes on the floor, his face a nice shade of red. "Your body, it's red and it's really warm." Uruha stated as he slowly ran a hand down Aoi's chest. Aoi quickly pulled away and covered his body by closing his shirt. "U-Um..If you don't mind, I'd like to change." Aoi stuttered. Uruha tilted his head in confusion. 'Don't do that...you don't know what that does to me.' Aoi shut his eyes tightly. Uruha stepped closer to Aoi. "Your forehead is really warm...we're staying." Uruha said walking back to his book and taking a seat. He then pointed to Aoi's bed. "Get in bed. You're sick."

"B-But--"No. Don't worry. I'll stay with you." Uruha smiled reassuringly. Aoi hesitated before nodding and doing as Uruha said. "Go to sleep. I'll stay right by your side." Uruha said soothingly. "Is..I-Is it okay for you to skip school?" Uruha looked over at Aoi and nodded. 'I guess this isn't too bad. Uruha in my room.' Aoi's eyes began to get heavy and he drifted off to sleep. "I didn't really feel like going to school today..." Uruha mumbled to himself.

'Where are they...' Taeko mentally asked herself. She had not seen Aoi since morning and now she was beginning to get worried. She had not yet seen Uruha either. It was already lunch time and physics class was next. 'Just where on earth are Aoi and Uruha-san!' Taeko screamed in her head. "Tashi--Taeko." Taeko turned her head to see Kai holding his bento lunch. "Would it be okay if I ate my lunch with you?" Kai asked, a tinge of nervousness in his voice. Taeko nodded and smiled. "Sure. I'd prefer to not eat alone. I haven't seen Aoi since the beginning of school." she sighed, finally opening her own lunch.

"Kai."

Kai looked up from his lunch and there stood Takanori. "Hey, Ruki." Kai greeted. "Taka--" Taeko began but was cut off by Ruki instantly. "Could I sit with you, Kai?" Ruki asked waiting for an answer. "Um...sure." Kai nodded. Ruki took a seat next to Kai on the bench, resting his head on the other boy's shoulder. "Eehh, Takanori-san...don't you have any lunch?" Taeko asked, a bit weird-ed out by Ruki leaning on Kai. Ruki slowly shook his head. "Well, aren't you hungry?" the girl asked and the basket case shook his head 'no' again. But that was definitely a lie, hearing Ruki's stomach growl right after denying being hungry.

"Ruki...why don't you have a lunch?" Kai asked nudging Ruki's head with his occupied shoulder. Ruki shrugged and then looked up at Kai, blinking once. Kai sighed and opened his bento box, placing it on Ruki's lap. "Here. We can share." Kai said almost hesitantly. Ruki removed his head from Kai's shoulder and opened his mouth. "Ehm..what are you--"I think he wants you to feed him." Taeko whispered to Kai, trying to hold back a giggle. Kai took a hold of his chopsticks and then looked at the open mouthed Ruki. Sighing, Kai took some food between the chopsticks and placed it in Ruki's mouth. "You can feed yourself y'know." Kai stated, bringing more food to Ruki's mouth when he had chewed and swallowed.

"Look at that! Look at--Are you seeing this!?" Miyavi half whispered half screamed to his noseband friend. "I see." Reita said uncaring as he stuffed food into his mouth. "Kai, MY Kai is feeding that weirdo!" Miyavi said flailing his arms. "Says the equally weird weirdo." Reita said threw a mouth full of food. Miyavi glared at Reita and then spoke. "Wouldn't you rather be the one feeding your weird boyfriend?" he asked teasingly. Reita choked on his food a bit before speaking. "He's not my boyfriend! And yes, I would. But...but I'm not going to but in." Reita mumbled as he blushed. "Oh, ReiRei, you're too shy. C'mon!" Miyavi said taking Reita by the arm and pulling him off the ground. "Where are we go--Miyavi, NO!" Reita panicked as he planted his feet firmly into the ground. "C'mon! We should have lunch with them." Miyavi whined. "You just want to go because Kai is there. Nothing is going to happen if we don't go, Miyavi. They're not alone or anything. Look, that big glasses chick is there." Reita pointed out. "No! I don't care!" Miyavi pouted. "Fine! You can stay here all by yourself while I eat with Kai." Miyavi said taking his lunch. "Have fun." Reita said sarcastically as Miyavi walked off.

"Hi there!" Miyavi greeted with his best smile as he approached the not so popular trio. All three looked at Miyavi, two of them looking quiet shocked that one of the popular s had greeted them. "Mind if I eat lunch with you three?" he asked not bothering to wait for a reply as he took a seat on the ground. "Eehh...where's Reita-san and Uruha-san? Why aren't you eating with them?" Taeko asked. "Oh, he said he wanted time to himself about something." Miyavi lied. "And Uruha, Uruha called this morning saying he wouldn't be in school today. Something about someone being sick and that he was going to stay to care of them." Miyavi said, using his fingers to scoop some food in his mouth. Taeko stared at Miyavi for a moment before nodding in understandability. 'Is Aoi sick? Is that why Uruha-san stayed behind today?' Taeko asked herself, a small smile creeping onto her face at the thought of Aoi and Uruha being alone together.

"Say, Kai," Miyavi began as he scooted closer to the mentioned boy. "What are you having for lunch?" he asked in the most casual way he could muster. "Better you ask, Ruki." Kai said as Ruki leaned in to the chopsticks in Kai's hand for more food. "Is it good?" Kai asked a mouth filled Ruki. Ruki nodded and scooted closer to Kai, taking the chopsticks at the same time as he began to feed himself, his head once again resting on Kai's shoulder. "Thanks, I made it myself." Kai smiled noticing that one of his arm's was now around Ruki's shoulder and his fingers combing the hair of the boy helping himself to his former lunch. Kai didn't know why suddenly he was so comfortable with Ruki, but he liked the idea of having at least one male friend...even if he did try to advance on him last night.

Miyavi's blood boiled at the sight before him. Not only was Ruki being intimate with Kai, he was eating a lunch that Kai made himself. 'How dare you!? How dare you eat a lunch my Kai made with his beautiful hands and not give him not even one grain of rice!?' Miyavi shouted at Ruki mentally. 'Wait! Miyavi, you're a genius.' Miyavi stood up and rudely scooted Taeko aside and sat next to Kai. "Here, Kai." Miyavi smiled holding his lunch in front of Kai. "You can have some of my lunch." Kai looked at Miyavi and then at his lunch. "...It's just rice." Kai commented. "Is there something wrong with rice?" Miyavi asked in a sad tone. "Oh no! There nothing wro--"Then have some. I don't mind." Miyavi said insistently. Kai hesitated before nodding, removing his fingers from Ruki's hair. He reached for the bento box of the boy when out of the blue, Ruki whimpered, dropping both the lunch he had and the chopsticks.

"Ruki!? What's wrong!?" Kai asked in a panicked tone, forgetting about Miyavi's offer. Ruki held his hands over his mouth before responding with, "I bith my tongue." Kai could see some moisture forming in the eye's of the injured boy. "Let me see." Kai said, holding Ruki's head gently. "You bit pretty hard. You're bleeding a bit." Kai said cupping Ruki's chin. "I'll go get some cold water for you." Taeko said standing up. "Okay. Wait outside the men's bathroom, Taeko. I'm going to help Ruki clean up. You spilled rice and soy sauce all over your clean shirt." Kai mumbled, taking Ruki by the arm and pulling him opposite direction of Taeko. Miyavi sat there speechless of the whole situation until he threw his lunch to the ground. "DAMN IT!!"

A/N: Sorry that there isn't a lot of Aoi and Uruha. I promise the next chapter will be focused on them and maybeh a little Reita coming onto Ruki.
