Gosh what a long day. We had a visiting artist that was real nice, and then all the animators from both senior project classes piled into the animation studio so we could show off our semester progress. Alot of us apparently haven't had much stuff to show, so since none of the classes have had an actual work day we decided to take advantage of the class time and the company and just work for the day. Whoever had stuff to show we just showed off casually to each other as we went along. It was cool; I've got 3 pieces of animation all inked and I'm 3 quarters into my fourth. I'm really happy I'm finally making some sort of leeway. Seeing faces and clothing and movement and stuff is making me feel like it's finally getting there; you know, it's looking near finished...almost like I can actually see this done by the beginning of may! lol! Tomorrow I'm taking advantage of the time alone and going to animate the hell out of my senior project. i wish I could show off what it's looking like so far...maybe I'll go ahead and put a pencil test compile and post it on DA or something.

Other than that, the rest of the day has been good. Since I've been drawing almost straight from yesterday I was real tired when i went home and was really wanting to take a break from the computer. Since Dee Jay has evening class on thursdays I spent some time by myself outside on a patch of grass by the morrison with a book I haven't read yet (it's real sad to say that I've read almost all the books I have in my apt, lol) and soaked up some of weather. It was just too pretty outside to stay at my desk. Sucks that I'll probably be chained there again tomorrow, but at least I'll be able to pull back the blinds all the way and let in all the nice sunlight.
