I figured it was about time I updated about my first week of college. Well, the good news is that I get so see all of my friends again, the bad news is that I have three chapters to read, one for each class, and my Biology chapters are 30 pages each. College must have really missed me. Can somebody please tell me why the voices of narrators on school related video tapes so boring?!? This man's voice was so depressing, he kept rating about lab safety, but my eyelids were threatening to come crashing down. After my three hour biology lab, I made my way to my psychology class. My good friend Liane was in my class, so I know it was going to be great being in her class. When the two of us are together, we make endless amounts of people laugh. Of course we keep our jokes outside the classroom.
Then I found out that Kayla (I hope I spelt her name right, I’ll have to ask her), a Canadian girl I worked with this summer and have a crush on, is also in my class. Get this, the classroom wasn't very full, but she could have chosen to sit anywhere else in the room, but she chose to sit next to me. Go Miguel, go Miguel...your good looks strikes again! Then we had a nice conversation before class stared. Oh and Bermuda College sits close to a beach, I’m talking 30 seconds away. But since Kayla and I have light schedules, we are going on a beach walk together. I am so excited! We might just go swimming, who knows? I'll try not to get my hopes up. Wish me luck.
Oh and my good friend, BJ, broke up with her boyfriend, so now she relies on me to make things better. If this was 4 months ago, I would have been so happy! Not to mention that relationship she was in made her look so...depressed, but I digress. And get this; her boyfriend said "I'll think about hooking up with you again, if I feel like it. We'll just wait and see what happens." Despite his words, BJ STILL wants him back! *cough* pathetic *cough*
I'm kindly trying to explain how desperate she sounds. Isn't it amusing how relationships have reverse effects, sometimes? BJ was such a strong student back in high school, getting straight A's and everything. Now she has been reduced to a desperate chick, which is losing herself. As much as I care, I have my own goals to worry about. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to make some lunch then go skinny dipping. Lol, just kidding...but I am going swimming though.
