Back To Work...

Thank you all who left comments on my last entry, I really needed them. I'll be sure to reply to them right after this post is up. I've made my decision...I'm going to his funeral. It's not that I was forced to go; it’s just something that needs to be done. My father is coming along as well, so that's quite helpful to me.

On a happier note, I return to work tomorrow. I'm so excited; it feels like an eternity since I've been out on vacation/recuperation. In fact, I won't be surprised if a few of my partners miss me, I've sure missed them. The worst thing that can possibly happen is that all of the work patterns have changed, and I'll have to learn/adapt to the new customs. Ok Miguel, stop thinking so negative. :P Apparently, one of my partners was being bullied while I was away. He's 14, but very short, he can pass for a 8 year old. He likes to think of me as a big brother, so I'm quite touched. But I feel kind of bad that I wasn't there to help him out. I'm not beating myself up or anything, it's just a bit ironic, if anything. My boss is giving me all the details tomorrow, so I'll be sure to update about it.

As for what I was doing today, I was woken up by two of my friends, Kelvin and Baron. I invited them to come over and swim in the pool, but they came 11:00 in the morning! I thought I was hearing things, but they really were swimming and splashing, thus waking me up. I told them to come 1:00 or 2:00, not no 11:00! "We couldn't help it," they said. *sighs* To make matters worse, I was stuck with them for the longest time while they were telling bad jokes because the busses here went on strike....AGAIN! So they then hopped in a taxi 2 hours later and that was the end of that. They wanted to stay a bit longer and wanted me to feed them after they gave me so much trouble with the noise. I told them straight, "look here you little Venus flytrap, I don't tolerate freeloaders, so get yah butts on that taxi and be gone!" It was quite funny how I said it. :P So that's pretty much it.

Laters.
