Scarred For Life

I know I know…shame on you Miguel! Not updating everyday like before. Sorry, but my job really takes allot out of me. You’d think my body would have adjusted by now. In fact, I was going to update last night, but I saw my bed, and I decided to lay down and “rest my eyes,” the next thing I know, it’s 8:00am and I realized I feel asleep right threw till morning. I’m sure once I get use to this working long hours thing, I’ll be able to keep my journal well updated like before.

Well today, I got a bit injured, just great. We have this huge green iguana name “Stumpy.” His tail was pulled of by some inconsiderate jerk, and it grew back in a weird way, somewhat hard to explain, but the name pretty much gives you an idea. Anyway, I think one of my partners was messing with Stumpy before I was ordered to feed him because he was a bit aggressive today. I hade to take the iguana outside too feed him on the lawn so the tourist can see. But as I pulled him down, he began clawing at my arms pretty bad. Lucky I had on my long-sleeved shirt, but then my sleeves gut pushed up from Stumpy’s constant moving, thus giving me a huge gash on my left hand, and a minor scrape on my finger. I haven’t bled like that in such a long time. I didn’t cry or anything, but it sure did sting once my boss put some acto-gel on my wound. The scar isn’t as big, but it some what resembles that of Squall’s of Final Fantasy 8. Hopefully Stumpy will be in a better mood tomorrow, then again, I might not even mess with him in the next few days.

In other news, I’m finally getting out off the house more often. Not necessarily going out with allot of my friends, more like going to family dinners and what not. I was at a party at my aunt’s house a few nights ago. When I got there, there was a many individuals talking around the lawn, but two groups caught my eyes. There was one that consisted of 6 men, just blabbing about football and the World Cup. Seeing as how I’m only into the sorts swimming and archery, I passed. The next group was about 9 women made up my family and friends. Then that group of wormen split into two separate groups, due to diffrent topics. Noticing the laughs the two groups were having, I literally sat in between, them. It’s crazy how two groups of women talk all loud and over one another, yet they can still communicate pretty well. I adjusted my ears to focus on both groups, receiving equal shares of laughs.

So yeah, despite my injuries, I had a great time. I finally feel…more sociable. Nevertheless, I’m still hooked onto KH2. I just got Wisdom Form last night. J
