It has been too long since my last update and I am truly sorry for this, my loyal readers. I've got so much college work to complete, huge math packet, a retirement home essay, retirement home project, arranged marriages vs love marriages project then I must study for my finals. Lucky for me all of this work will be over within two weeks, then I can get back to updating my journal regularly and my other hobbies. What I find so strange is that all my other friends that I asked about the projects they have to do, they tell me that have not one project to work on. :S I find them so damn lucky, I envy them. lol. I know were all taking different courses and all, but I always thought almost every class gave you a major project to do towards the end. Oh well, ranting about it won't change the fact that I am still swamped with work. Well, nothing major has happened to me over the past week, but I do have one small thing to talk about.
Ok, well my father told me that he ran into my old childhood friend Max, and would for me to give him a call. I am so excited, yet nervous. lol. You see Max and I grew up here at my neighborhood Shelly Hall and at first he was an ok guy...alright he was awesome! We would share deep dark secrets, have a few sleepovers, funny debates, go swimming, go exploring, the list goes on. But then his father died and our friendship went down hill. He must have remained inside for a month, not that I blame him. But when he finally came back outside...he was totally different. He wanted to commit loads of mischief, like mess with the construction workers at the neighborhood, pick fights with people and play ding-dong ditch almost everyday. In other words...he became corrupted. I told him that I couldn't hang with him anymore, or at least until he retuned to his old self. But all that did was make him even worse. Eventually our friendship died, or was postponed if you will...and his mother sent him away to school, hoping it would bring him back down to earth. That was 5 years ago and now he is back. My father says he looks totally refined...I hope he is right. I intend to call him tonight and make some arrangements so we can meet up. I hope I know what I am getting myself into. :S
Until next time...
