It looks like I won't be playing any Play Station 2 tonight, due to my little archery incident. Even though we had no archery class today, our gym teacher wanted us to practice during lunch for some archery tournament, a tournament that I know very little about at this present time. Anyway, I was doing quite well, until one of the arrows some how broke as I released it. The tail of the arrow shattered, cutting up my right palm, and a few scratches on my hand. It felt like 20 bee stings, but I didn't cry though. My exact words were "What de...UHHHH...DAMN IT DAMN IT!!" Lucky I was shooting with somebody, he escorted me to the office to get all bandaged up. My fingers are ok, but holding anything in my right hand at the time is out of the question. I think I still have a few splinters in my palm as well, just great.
But what really bugged me was the site of my own blood. I HATE bleeding, I know its part of being human, but I hate it. I don't faint at the sight of blood or anything like that, but it makes you look so...helpless. I don't need any stitches or anything like that, just keep applying pressure to the cut, and I'll be good as new for the next time. Oh that's right; a little wound can't keep me from doing archery, no way. But I think the arrow was used by somebody else, and it got weakened. But you couldn't really tell by looking at it, but crap happens I suppose. Now, I have to ice up my hand, it's a bit swollen...and bleeding a bit again, I hope I will be able to sleep well tonight.
